THE most expensive used cars of 2024 have been revealed, including models from three iconic British brands.

Experts from online marketplace Carwow shared their sales leaderboard for the first quarter of the year exclusively with Sun Motors.

The top 10 sales alone raked in a staggering £1.6 million in total.

As you might expect, the table was entirely dominated by luxury brands, with seven different models sharing the honours.

Ferrari sat top of the tree, with a 458 Italia fetching a whopping £260,000 by itself.

That was well clear of the £165,000 bid for the Lamborghini Huracan in second.

However, perhaps surprisingly, the Italia was the only Ferrari to crack the top 5, with its only other representation being a 488 convertible sitting in ninth.

Instead, the middle of the table was a strong showing for the Brits as Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin tied up four of the six spots between the two Maranello-made supercars.

Indeed, a Rolls-Royce Ghost rose as high as fourth, boasting an impressive price tag of £158,000.

And it was closely followed by the Bentley Continental GT at £155,000 and Aston Martin DBX at £144,000.

Elsewhere, the best-performing single brand was Porsche, with three entries, ahead of Bentley and Ferrari with two apiece.

Amazingly, Porsche’s strong performance also yielded the most in-demand single model as all three of its appearances came in the form of 911s from 2019.

The German trio were priced at £160,028, £143,111 and 135,551 respectively.

Nonetheless, not even the Ferrari 458 could break the site’s all-time auction record.

That honour remains with a Lamborghini Urus sold in 2023 at a wallet-emptying £292,000.

Sally Foote, Chief Commercial Officer at Carwow, told The Sun: “We sell a huge range of cars, from top-end, premium models like these, right through to ‘first car’ and runaround options for under £4,000, and everything in between.

“As a result, an increasing number of drivers are turning to Carwow to sell their car, with 17,000 pre-qualified consumer listings now added to our auctions each month.”

It comes after we explained how petrolheads can hire a fleet of supercars worth over £2 million from their room at a swanky UK hotel.
