LEWIS HAMILTON’s first race for Ferrari has been confirmed as the F1 calendar for next season has been revealed.

The F1 legend joins the Italian team for the 2025 season on a two-year deal once he leaves Mercedes.

Hamilton, 39, signed the £100million deal earlier this year to bring an end to his 11-year association with Mercedes.

The seven-time world champion will be first in action in a Ferrari for the Australian Grand Prix.

The race weekend to open the start of the 2025 season will be on March 14-16.

It is not the ideal start for the Brit, considering he has only won two races on the track in his career.

His two wins came in 2008 and 2015, while he has also finished on the podium ten times.

Hamilton did finish 2nd on the circuit in 2023, but this year, he did not finish along with Mercedes team-mate George Russell.

He has raced on the circuit 15 times and scored points on 13 occasions.

Hamilton’s qualifying results have also been mixed, as he has qualified for pole position eight times.

The Chinese GP will be the second race of the season, which will be followed by the Japanese, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia gps in April.
