INDICATION EMBER (2.12 Redcar, nap)

He looked a really nice type ahead of the opening race of the season – the Brocklesby at Donny. And he was promising once the stalls opened too, travelling nicely in midfield before finishing strongly to grab third in the closing stages. As you might expect, Grant Tuer’s filly looked green and will definitely come on for the experience. She has the benefit of Brandon Wilikie’s 5lb claim and we know she likes this testing ground which she is also bred for. She holds Theatrically who was fifth in the Brocklesby and ran with credit despite hanging on the all-weather.

NOBLE ORDER (3.42 Redcar, nb)

Was impressive when scoring after a break at Newcastle last time. That was his first run for a year since leaving Charlie Appleby but he’s clearly retained his talent. His last turf effort was a good second on soft ground at Newmarket so the conditions should be fine. Despite being five, he is very lightly raced.

CRAZY LUCK (4.20 Windsor, treble)

Is overdue a win but will be much fitter for her comeback at Kempton last time. She has run well here a couple of times and this is her best distance. Some cut in the ground is ideal and the booking of Silvestre De Sousa looks a good one. She can go close from 7lb lower than her last win which came in a higher grade than this.
