Seconds later, he is stopped by police and is asked if his vehicle is registered.
Police officers allowed him to drive back to his house.
The video’s title reads: “Do I get away with it? Find out tomorrow.”
The police officer asked him: “Is the car registered?”
He answers: “No, no. It’s a bit of a toy car. We’re gonna get on the road.”
The police officer asked him: “Where did you go?”
He answers: “Oh, just around the corner.”
To which the officer replies: “You can’t be driving it.”
Police took pictures of the unregistered car and the YouTuber’s fans asked him to upload part two of the video.
Eyles runs the Built Not Bought YouTube channel, where he uploads automotive-themed entertainment.
Queensland police in Australia said he bought a car that had allegedly been used in a circus.
On the 30th of September, police went to his flat and seized several items, including the car on the video.
In an interview with Australian News, Eyles said: “Obviously, I f**** up. I shouldn’t have driven the car on the road.
“I was happy to take the fine, but then they kept digging, and digging, and digging.”
Eyles was eventually charged with careless driving, driving with an unrestrained passenger and the dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The video has gone viral on TikTok with more than one million views
