The Champ is also highly respected outside of the ring as it is well-known he is very appreciative towards his fans and has granted more wishes for the Make a Wish foundation than any other celebrity.
A heckler tried to steal some of the ex-WWE Champion’s spotlight by interrupting him while he was having lunch with a friend.
The fan approached the former World Heavyweight Champion with a camera on and asked him to say his famous “You can’t see me” catchphrase.
But the 46-year-old grappler politely declined as he asked for his privacy to be respected.
Cena responded: “Can I enjoy some time with my friends?”
The ex-US Champion’s friend also appeared annoyed as he waved the person off.
The WWE Universe took to social media to back Cena insisting he was right to turn that fan down.
One fan said: “I know it’s ‘part of the profession’ but I feel bad for people like him sometimes.”

Another posted: “People that just take out their phones to just record celebs, it’s just weird behaviour.”
A third commented: “He’s in the middle of eating, like let the man live.”
This fan stated: “There’s nothing wrong with what he said, don’t know why everyone took it in the wrong way.”
And that one added: “Ayyy he’s right, he’s a person. Leave him alone.”
Cena hasn’t been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 39 in April when he lost to US Champion Austin Theory.
