Bautista has since focused on his growing acting career that has seen him transform into a major Hollywood superstar.
The 55-year-old has taken part in various blockbuster smash hits, with Dune: Part Two being his latest gig.
The American performer attended the red carpet in a white suit with a gold chain around his neck.
But fans were left stunned when they saw the six-time world champion rocking a grey beard with a big smile on his face.
Bautista looked completely different than he did back in his wrestling glory years.
The Animal’s career kicked off at the advanced age of 30 years old when he initially tried his luck in WCW’s developmental program at the Power Plant.
But that didn’t work out and the heavyweight athlete switched his attention to WWE a year later when he successfully joined their own talent enhancement program at OVW.
Batista became one of the brand’s most successful graduates alongside John Cena, Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar.
Bautista made his main roster debut in 2002 when he initially linked up with D-Von Dudley, who then wrestled as Reverend D-Von, as the tag team specialist’s sidekick.
But his big break came a year later when he joined forces with Triple H, fellow mentor Ric Flair as well as Orton to form the legendary Evolution stable.
The quartet dominated RAW for over two years until Batista won the Royal Rumble and turned on his mentors to set up a World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania 21 against Triple H.
The ex-WWE Champion defeated his mentor and went on to become one of the sport’s greatest ever wrestlers having beaten the likes of Cena, The Undertaker and Orton along the way.
The Washington star is now enjoying a stunning acting career that took off after he was cast as Drax in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise in 2014.
Since then, the former World Heavyweight Champion has taken part in various other motion pictures, such as Blade Runner 2049, Riddick and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, alongside other major stars.
And Bautista’s brilliant performances have led many fans claiming he is the best wrestler-turned-actor – even better than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
