But Cena could not pick just one and instead named four of the best fitted to represent the WWE.

He said: “I mean, this is just my perspective and again we’re talking objectivity. so it’s only opinion.

“Hulk Hogan would have to be in there. Steve Austin, Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns.

“Roman has done a fantastic job of taking the business to heights its never been to before.”

Hogan helped fire the WWE into mainstream success during the 1980s thanks to his iconic matches with Andre The Giant.

The following decade belonged to Stone Cold and The Rock, who shared one of the most legendary feuds in wrestling history.

Johnson would go onto find superstardom in Hollywood meanwhile Austin – like The Rock also – has stuck around for cameo WWE appearances.

Most noticeably on Cena’s list is the decision to leave out The Undertaker, one of the WWE’s most recognisable faces.

Taker dominated for nearly four decades and had some of the most memorable matches of all time.

But Cena – who would likely feature on most others’ lists – selected current WWE universal champion Reigns.

Reigns is currently the face of the company and a six-time world champion.

He now teams up with The Rock at WrestleMania 40 to face Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on night one.

The following evening, he then defends his title against Rhodes.
