WWE revealed their new World Heavyweight Championship beltTwitter

WWE chief content officer and professional wrestling legend Triple H took to the ring with the new shiny title.

The Hall of Famer revealed the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has reached a deal that allows him to defend his belt on a part-time basis.

The Game admitted that was a “smart” move from Reigns but insisted that didn’t work in favour of the wrestling giants’ interests.

That is why Vince McMahon‘s promotion needs another world champion ahead of the Draft.

That means Reigns will be defending his belt exclusively at the brand he gets drafted to on Friday or Monday.

And the new World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned in the other brand.

Triple H revealed a tournament will be put together and the winner will become the inaugural holder at Night Of Champions on May 27 in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement led to immense reaction within the WWE Universe.

Paul was also rocked by the revelation and took to Twitter where he issued a photo of Triple H’s announcement alongside an eye emoji teasing he will challenge for the belt.

Fans took to the comments’ section and predicted The Maverick will become the first ever World Heavyweight Champion.

One supported tweeted: “AND NEW WWE World Heavyweight Championship LOGAN PAUL!!!”

Another posted: “That’s right I called it first.”

And a third commented: “It’s Logan’s time.”

But if Paul wins the title then that will go against Triple H’s statement, who promised the World Heavyweight Champion would defend the title on a full-time basis.

The YouTuber appears on WWE TV on a part-time basis and only wrestles on major pay-per-view shows.

The 28-year-old never appears on non-televised house shows and never fights on RAW or SmackDown.
