After a sticky start, the powerhouse is now a major star on the silverscreen after being widely-praised for his performance in Guardians of the Galaxy and Blade Runner 2049.

But wrestling fans have been left in shock after he ditched his shaved head look and grew a new beard.

The man in question is the legendary Batista, better known as Dave Bautista.

‘The Animal’ was a huge name in Vince McMahon’s WWE in the 2000s before leaving in 2010 to embark on his career in the movie business.

Then, after beating Vince Lucero in his only MMA outing in 2012, he briefly returned to WWE but he walked out again in 2014 after Evolution lost to The Shield and would not come back until 2018.

Batista then had his retirement match at WrestleMania 35 in 2019 against Triple H.

These days he continues to enjoy success as an actor, but he has revealed a new-look that has shocked his legion of followers.

Batista, famed for his huge and muscular physique, looked a lot smaller after a picture of him in a mixed martial arts dojo was shared online.

He was sporting a headband but also had a head of hair and a full, grey beard – and shocked fans could not handle it.

One asked: “What’s that on his head man?”

Another commented: “Immediately shave his hair wtf.”

“He lost weight like he wanted to,” wrote another, with a fellow fan declaring that he “suits the grey beard”.
