Woman reveals the clever hack to avoid always needing the bathroom on flights

A WOMAN has revealed the travel hack she uses to avoid going to the bathroom during a flight.

Using a plane toilet is never the nicest experience, which leaves many passengers coming up with new ways to avoid the bathroom all while remaining hydrated.

A woman has revealed the best travel hacks she uses on a long haul flighttiktok/@dantesflippinginferno

One of those people is travel blogger Lindsay, who is known as lindsaysilb on TikTok.

In her travel hack video, which has had over 4 million views, she explained her best tips for surviving a long-haul flight including compression socks and a moisturising face mask

As well as having some creature comforts, she also revealed how she avoided using the plane bathroom.

She said: “I do not enjoy peeing every five seconds on a long-haul flight, so that’s why I always bring these electrolyte packets because they keep me hydrated without having to bring a gallon of water.”

Electrolyte tablets have added vitamins and make drinking water easier.

They also help with rehydration by replacing things like salt, potassium, and magnesium.

In the comments of the video, one person wrote: “I love the electrolyte hack, thank you.”

Even with Lindsay’s travel hack, avoiding the plane bathroom isn’t always possible.

If you do need to use the toilet on a flight, several flight attendants have revealed the do’s and don’ts of plane bathrooms.

One thing passengers often do on a long flight is use the bathroom to clean their teeth.

However, this could make you sick as the water is not meant to be drunk in the toilets.

Speaking to bathroom specialists Sanctuary Bathrooms, the cabin crew member, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “Do not clean your teeth in a plane loo.

“The water on a plane all comes from the same water tank and it is not filtered.”

They finished by saying: “My main piece of advice would be, do not take your toothbrush or wash bag anywhere near a plane loo.”

The toilet is one of the dirtiest places on the plane.

Another flight attendant revealed the passenger toilet habits that she hates having to deal with during flights.

This is the worst thing you can do in a toilet while on a flight.
