Woman reveals ‘sleeping bag’ travel hack for planes – but people say it’s stupid

A WOMAN has divided opinion online after sharing her strange hack for sleeping on planes.

The passenger said that it helps her get comfortable enough to drift off during plane trips, even though she hates flying.

A lot of people struggle to make their plane seats hospitable, especially in economy class.

However, Tiktoker and travel enthusiast Anya Roscoe (@anyaroscoe) claims to have found a way sleep during flights that she insists can’t be beaten.

In a video, she claims to have “never had a better night’s sleep on a plane before – and that’s coming from someone that hates flying”.

The footage shows her putting her hoodie on backwards, before lifting the hood over her face and then leaning on the plane window.

She describes it as being like a sleeping bag.

She said: “Trust me on this one. When you’re on the plane, travel hack, put your hoodie on backwards.

“It’s like a hug in a mug. A sleeping bag. You’ll get such a good sleep on the journey.”

The video has been seen almost 200,000 times, with not everyone convinced that it’s such a good tip.

One wrote: “Nope, looks stupid and I’d rather get a neck pillow.”

Another said: “I did this once, got told off by crew… said I need to see if there’s an emergency.”

A third added: “But then it’s too hot.”

However, there were some people who said they would take Anya’s advice next time they flew, while others said they already did it.

One commented: “I’ll defo be doing this.”

A second wrote: “Thats what I do.”

Another claimed: “I do this, 10/10.”

Anya isn’t the only person to have vouched for the method either, with fellow TikTok user @Sofaloaf also swearing by it.

In a video, she showed how she did it, while also using a hat to keep the hood away from her face.

She said: “If you’re going on an overnight plane, just grab a hoodie and wear a hat.”

She put a baseball cap on first, using the peak to keep the hood away from her face, and then pulled the hood up.

Meanwhile, this “godsend” travel item will help you sleep on planes for only £10.

And people also swear by this “game-changing” item for in-flight comfort.
