‘With the BOSS’ – Man Utd icons Sir Alex Ferguson and Eric Cantona pose at art exhibition ahead of Manchester derby

MANCHESTER UNITED icons Sir Alex Ferguson and Eri Cantona were reunited at an art exhibition.

The event for the exhibition by artist Mikael Browne was at the National Football Museum in Manchester.

The pair enjoyed great success during their time at Manchester UnitedNews Group Newspapers Ltd

The iconic Red Devils visited the exhibition titled “from Moss Side to Marseille”, which shows the relationship between sport and modern society.

It was commissioned by Cantona and executed by artist Browne.

Cantona, 56, shared a picture of them together with his former Manchester United manager on Instagram for his 1.1 million followers.

It was captioned: “With the BOSS and the artist Mikael Browne at the opening of the exhibition « from Moss Side to Marseille » in the National Football Museum in Manchester.

“Don’t miss it! It’s magnificent and powerful!”

Fans of the retired French forward loved the picture, as one commented: “When legend meet another legend…”

A second wrote: “The respect for the boss. Love the mutual respect.”

Ferguson signed Cantona for the Red Devils from Leeds in 1992 for £1million.

The forward proved to be a hit at Old Trafford as he scored 64 goals in 143 league appearances.

Cantona would help the team win four Premier League titles in the 1990s along with two FA Cups.
