Why are England playing at Old Trafford and not Wembley tonight?

England have had to temporarily move homes for their Euro 2024 qualifying clash with North Macedonia this evening.

This is due to Wembley playing host to four nights of Harry Styles’ huge UK tour.

But despite the last night of the tour being two days ago, the pitch is still covered and the stadium is configured for a concert, not a football match.

This has meant that England will host North Macedonia at Manchester United’s Old Trafford this evening.

It will be the 18th time Old Trafford has hosted an England game, with only Wembley hosting more.
