Born on April 14, 2008, Caroline Cruz is Ted Cruz and his wife Heidi’s eldest of their two daughters.
Since sharing her life as a politician’s daughter on social media, the teen has been gaining online popularity.
Her TikTok account went viral after she began sharing lip-sync videos and discussing her dad’s controversial conservative views.
Caroline is the older sister to Ted and Heidi’s second daughter Catherine.
What did Caroline Cruz say about her father on TikTok?
Caroline has publicly declared that she disagrees with most of her father’s views in an explosive TikTok clip.
The 14-year-old complained that “a lot of people judge her” based upon her father’s reputation, despite their differing beliefs.
She received a series of questions regarding what it was like to be the Republican politician’s daughter and made a pros and cons list discussing her family life.
Caroline began: “Some of the good things are we get candy and gifts in the mail. We also get to travel sometimes.”
But in the post shared in early January 2022, she ran through a list of “bad things” explaining why being the Senator’s daughter is difficult.
The teenager said: “I literally have to have security following me everywhere.
“Like if I want to go on a walk through the neighborhood or to my friend’s house or something, I have to have like two security guards behind me the entire time.”
Caroline even claimed her father’s media team photoshopped her outfit in a photo for the Cruz family Christmas card to demonstrate Ted’s conservative views.
She shared the snap of the group photo where she appears to be wearing a waist-length knitted shirt, before sharing an image of her in a crop top with an identical design.
