DESPITE retiring from professional football in 2017, Alex Scott has showed no signs of letting her career slow down.
After making the swap from footy pitch to sports pundit, the popular star is now a much sought after TV presenter.

Who is Alex Scott?
Born October 14, 1984, Alexandra Virina Scott is a former England and Arsenal footballer turned sports pundit.
During her footy career she won eight league titles, three WSL Cups and seven FA Cups.
Scott also won the Champions League once, and two Community Shields.
During her career for the Gunners, the footy ace made 148 appearances.

She also put in 140 appearances for England.
Scott made her debut for the national side in 2004 where she went on to become England’s second-most capped player, winning a silver and bronze medal at the 2009 Euros and 2015 Women’s World Cup respectively.
Due to her success on the pitch, in 2011 she started the Alex Scott Academy for female footballers aged 16-19.
Another achievement was when she was named in Great Britain’s 18-player squad for the 2012 London Olympics.

Following this, Scott was awarded an MBE in the 2017 New Year’s Honours list for her services to football.
She retired from football at the end of the 2017 season to focus on her burgeoning broadcasting career with the BBC.
Meanwhile, Scott’s love life is often a hot topic of conversation.
In October 2023, The Sun exclusively revealed how Scott was dating Jess Glynn.
The pair enjoyed a series of dates before the Women’s World Cup in August 2023, and have continued to see each other.
A source told us: “Alex and Jess have been a slow burn and they didn’t want to rush things or go public too soon.
“But they’re officially an item now and seem really happy. They are both strong, independent women with a shared passion and respect of their respective careers, supporting one another from the sidelines.
“It’s still early days for them, but they’ve met one another’s mates and everyone is super-happy for them.”

How did Alex Scott make TV history?
Outside of her playing career, Scott is also a TV presenter and pundit for the BBC and Sky.
She made TV history in 2018, when she became the first female football pundit at a World Cup for the BBC.
Since 2019, Alex has co-hosted Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday alongside Chris Kamara.
She has also been a regular presenter on The One Show and Children In Need.
Away from sport, and the talented star came fifth on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
Scott also won Bear Grylls‘ TV show, Mission Survive.
