JACK DRAPER has the opportunity of a lifetime as he takes on Rafael Nadal in the first round of the Australian Open.
The Brit faced a similarly hard task at Wimbledon in 2021 when he faced Novak Djokovic in his first match.

Who is Jack Draper?
Jack Draper was born in Sutton in 2001. He is currently ranked 40 in the world, but was as low as 250 two years ago.
In 2018, he reached the Wimbledon Juniors final before being edged out by Taiwan’s Tseng Chun-hsin.
Draper had never qualified for a grand slam before 2021 but did make it to the Miami Open where he was forced to retire in the first round against Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin.

At Queen’s Club Draper showed he had an extremely bright future in grass court tennis by stunning third seed Jannik Sinner.
And in the second round he beat experienced Kazakh and world number 39 Alexander Bublik before being defeated by fellow Brit and eventual finalist Cameron Norrie.
In 2022, Draper lost in the second round to Alex de Minaur in four sets.
