RUSSIAN tennis prodigy, Andrey Rublev has had tennis in his blood from a very early age.
His mother was a famous tennis coach herself, having trained Anna Kournikova, so Rublev was in and around the tennis scene as soon as he could walk.

Born in Moscow, Rublev was born to parents Andrey Rublev Sr and Marina Marenko.
His father was a former professional boxer who has now turned his hand to running his own restaurant.
Marina Marenko, was a famous tennis coach who had many stars prosper from her tutelage.
Andrey’s half-sister, Anna Arina Marenko, was also a professional tennis player although she is now retired and coaches tennis, following in the footsteps of her mother.
As a junior, Andrey trained with his mother, but, since 2016, he has mostly been training in Barcelona with his current trainer, Fernando Vicente.
Quite a shy and modest person, Rublev is rarely active on social media and certainly is not one to show off.

Rublev’s longtime girlfriend Anastasija Homutova is also a tennis professional, part-time coach and model.
Homutova, who is Latvian but grew up in Moscow, met Rublev during a practise at an event in 2016 and the pair reportedly felt an immediate connection.
She is said to be a humble person who shuns the limelight, this is evidenced by the fact that not many people know very much about her at all.
Rublev does share Instagram stories where his girlfriend can often be seen at players’ box events all over the world.
