After a number of rocky romances and brief flings, Emily found love once again in 2022 with former reality star and tree surgeon Liam McGough.
However, after just seven months of dating the celeb couple called it quits.
The news came after they were seen enjoying a series of loved-up dates over the summer and things were reportedly getting serious enough for him to meet her family.
A source revealed: “Emily and Liam have been friends for a long time and were together for seven months, but sadly have decided to separate.

“They kept their relationship private for a while and only went public when the news broke that they were together.
“Sadly, they decided they were better off as friends and parted ways a few days ago, but it’s all very amicable.”
The Inbetweeners star said she had turned to poetry during her down days after her break up, including The Orange by Wendy Cope, which ends with the sentence: “I love you. I’m glad I exist.”

A day after news of their passionate peck broke, Giovanni couldn’t resist poking fun at his latest romantic situation, as he shared the Abba classic Mamma Mia, with the lyrics: “Mamma Mia here I go again. My, my, how can I resist you?” to his Instagram.

In November 2021, The Sun exclusively revealed that Emily had been secretly meeting up with footballer Jack Grealish.
The Man City midfielder, who has reportedly been in an on off relationship with childhood sweetheart Sasha Attwood since he was 16, was allegedly calling Emily, almost every day after the pair exchanged numbers in September 2021.
They reportedly met once at Manchester’s five-star Lowry hotel on October 18 – ahead of City’s Champions League victory against Belgium’s Club Brugge – and later at the actress’s home in the capital.
Describing their friendship as the “talk of the dressing room,” Jack’s pal explained that the pair have a mutual admiration for each other.”
The friend told the Sun: “Emily watched Jack in the Euros and thought he was fit.
“And for his part, Jack has been a fan of hers since she starred as Charlotte ‘Big Jugs’ Hinchcliffe in The Inbetweeners.
“They started DMing on Instagram before swapping numbers, and taking it on to WhatsApp and FaceTime.
“Jack’s been calling her almost every day and has been pretty open about it.
“They’ve become really good mates, are FaceTiming loads and he’s like a little puppy dog around her.
“It’s very sweet. They have a real laugh together.”
A friend later added: “They’re getting very close but obviously haven’t crossed a line.
“Jack is very focussed on his career and Emily is a fun, popular girl who is incredibly busy work-wise at the moment.”
After their alleged brief romance was revealed, Jack broke off contact with Emily.
A source close to Jack said: “By all accounts, Emily is really hurt, and feeling incredibly bruised by the whole encounter.
“She’s kept a dignified silence about their fling but now Jack – who made out he was single – has gone running back to Sasha.
“One minute he was besotted, the next he was back with Sasha and acting as if Emily didn’t mean anything.
“When their affair came to light, it quickly became apparent that people were getting hurt – and that things could get very messy.
“Emily didn’t want a huge drama, and took the executive decision to calmly walk away.
“Maybe they can be pals again once the dust has settled – but certainly not for the foreseeable.”

“She’s super-busy with her career at the moment so is more than happy to take it slowly.”
Charlie Edwards
Emily had a short lived fling with boxer Charlie Edwards in 2020.
The pair split after Covid restrictions put pressure on their romance.
A source close to the star at the time said: “Emily’s work schedule has been busy lately and she’s had to really focus on making that work.
“She was really into Charlie, who is obviously very handsome. and there was a good spark there, but it’s definitely over.
“They both tried to make it work and she is hoping the door remains open. But with work schedules and lockdown, it’s just impossible at the moment.”

At the time he was understood to be in the middle of his five-year-long relationship with long-term partner Rebecca Humphries.
Rebecca dumped him on Twitter after The Sun revealed pictures of the comedian kissing married Strictly dance partner Katya Jones.
According to sources Sean and Emily first “clicked” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2016 and went on to enjoy a series of liaisons, meeting at pubs and hotels.
A source said: “Seann and Emily were really keen on each other. They were totally wrapped up in each other’s company.
“Emily told people she was in love with Seann. She liked the way he was funny and quite macho — a man’s man.
“He obviously made her laugh but also treated her well and lavished her with her gifts and flowers. She liked the fact that he was a little bit older and more experienced than her, so seemed like a man of the world.
