The nine-year-old gelding is trained by Henry de Bromhead and owned by Robcour.

Ain’t That A Shame has won connections just over £40,000 from ten races.

The horse won his last race when scooting up by six lengths in a 2m4f chase at Gowran Park in Ireland.

Ain’t That A Shame has a very interesting profile for a National runner.

He is relatively lightly raced with just seven chase runs.

And he has never gone beyond three miles – the National will be run over 4m2½f.

The race will be off at 5.15pm.
