This year’s Ascot will be the first one since the tragic death of Queen Elizabeth II who held the event closest to her heart.
So to honour Her Majesty, the Platinum Jubilee Stakes will be renamed to The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes.
When is Royal Ascot 2023?
Royal Ascot is scheduled to get underway on Tuesday, June 20 before concluding on Saturday, June 24.
There are seven thrilling races scheduled for each day with a start time of 2:30pm BST.
While the final races of the day commence from 6:10pm BST.
Ascot Racecourse is located in Ascot, Berkshire and can host approximately 70,000 spectators.
What TV channel is it on and can it be live streamed?
The huge Royal Ascot event will be broadcast LIVE on ITV every day in the UK.
Coverage times on ITV are yet to be announced but it is expected to start from around 1:30pm BST – a whole hour before the first race gets underway.
Royal Ascot can also be live streamed through the ITV website or ITV X app.
Alternatively, SunSport will have a rolling live blog that covers all angles of the entire event.
