Gwyneth Paltrow‘s husband Brad Falchuk and her two children with ex-husband Chris Martin are set to take the stand as the actress-turned-influencer fights a $US300,000 (approx. $450,000) lawsuit in Utah.
That’s according to her attorney Stephen Owens, who said during the week-long trial’s opening arguments that the reason for her trip to the Deer Valley Resort – where a collision occurred on the slopes with retired optometrist Terry Sanderson in 2016, which he is suing over – was a “sentimental” one.
“So it was a sentimental issue because she had started getting back into skiing and she did it because she wanted her kids to learn like she had,” Owens said in court on March 21 (March 22 in Australia), noting that the trip for Paltrow had ties to her late father Bruce Paltrow, who died in 2002 aged 58.

Owens noted in court that Falchuk, who married Paltrow in 2018, was also present on the day of the collision, as were her two children.
”And [Falchuk] has kids the exact same age as Gwyneth’s daughter and son,” Owens said in court. “And this was really their first trip to sort of a have a mixed, see-if-this-might-work. So it was a special time and it was a lovely day.”
He then confirmed Falchuk, 52, Apple Martin, 18, and Moses Martin, 16, will testify on behalf of the 50-year-old Oscar-winner in the trial.
So who, exactly, are Gwyneth Paltrow’s children? In addition to Apple Martin and Moses Martin, Paltrow is also the step-mother of Brad Falchuk’s two children Isabella Falchuk, 18, and Brody Falchuk, 16. Here’s what you need to know about them.

Apple Blythe Alison Martin
Born to the Coldplay frontman and Marvel actress in 2004, Apple Martin is a nepo baby twice over. Or perhaps four times over, considering Paltrow’s parents are Blythe Danner (Apple’s namesake) and the late Bruce Paltrow.
Apple – who would have been 11 at the time of her mother’s collision – lives a relatively private life, never setting foot on a red carpet with her mum, nor using her father’s clout to make a break in the music industry.
That was until January 2023, when Apple made her public debut at Chanel’s SS/23 Haute Couture fashion show in Paris, sitting front row with Stranger Things‘ Sadie Sink and Lucy Boynton.

Even still, her Instagram account is set to private, though she does make cameos on her mother’s page every now and then – something she’s not always happy about.
Apple graduated from a prestigious high-school in Los Angeles alongside Ryder Robinson, Kate Hudson‘s son, in 2022.
She is currently attending college in New York City, though neither of her parents have confirmed where, exactly.

Moses Bruce Paltrow Martin
Named in part after Paltrow’s father, Moses Martin’s birth in 2006 signalled Apple becoming a big sister.
Paltrow revealed in September 2018 on The goop Podcast that Moses’ birth also marked the start of her postpartum depression, which she no longer suffers from.
Like Apple, there’s not much known publicly about Moses, though Paltrow has shared he’s interested in the game Fortnite and skateboarding.
He would have been nine at the time of Paltrow and Sanderson’s collision.

Isabella Falchuk and Brody Falchuk
After Paltrow and Martin’s infamous “conscious uncoupling” in 2014, Paltrow married Falchuk in 2018 – and with him came two step-children, Isabella, 18, and Brody, 16.
Both Isabella and Brody are the children of Falchuk and his ex-wife, Suzanne Bukinik, whom he split from in 2013.
Martin, meanwhile, is dating actress Dakota Johnson.
