When is Royal Ascot 2023?

Royal Ascot is scheduled to get underway on Tuesday, June 20 before concluding on Saturday, June 24.

There are seven thrilling races scheduled for each day with a start time of 2:30pm BST.

While the final races of the day commence from 6:10pm BST.

Ascot Racecourse is located in Ascot, Berkshire and can host approximately 70,000 spectators.

Women

Dresses and skirts should fall just about the knee or longer.Should straps must have a minimum width of 1 inch.Jackets and pashminas may be worn – tops and dresses beneath must still comply.Strapless, off the shoulder, halter neck, sheer and spaghetti straps are not permitted.Trouser suits are welcome and should be of matching material and colour.Jumpsuits should fall below the knee and comply with the shoulder strap requirements.Visible midriffs are not permitted.Hats should be worn.

Men

Either black, grey or navy morning dress which must include a waistcoat and tie.Black or grey top hat.Black shoes worn with socks.Novelty patterns and fabrics are not permitted.Trainers, denim, leggings and shorts are also not permitted.

Queen Anne Enclosure

Women

A dress or top and skirt, with shoulder or halter neck straps.A hat, headpiece or fascinator should be worn at all times.Strapless and sheer dresses and tops are not permitted.Trouser suits must be full-length and jumpsuits should fall below the knee. Shorts are not allowed.Strapless/off-the-shoulder dresses and tops are not permitted.Visible midriffs are also not permitted.

Men

A full-length suit with a collared shirt and tie. Jackets and trousers should be matching.A tie should be worn at all times and no bow ties or cravats.Socks must be worn to and should cover the ankle.Jeans, chinos and trainers are banned.Cravats, bow ties and neckerchiefs are not permitted.

Village enclosure

Women

Same as Queen Anne but smaller hats or fascinators are recommended, as are wedges and block heels.

Men
