BOB Marley is best known to us as a music legend, but he had one other love.
The Reggae icon, who died at 36 following a battle with cancer, loved to play and watch football.

Ajax famously sing Marley’s smash hit Three Little Birds at games.
The Eredivisie team also made Bob Marley-inspired limited edition football kits in the 2021/22 season.
At Selhurst Park during Chelsea’s win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League, Three Little Birds was played during half-time, and Blues fans proceeded to sing it in unison for the entirety of the second half.

Marley spent much of his time away from the music studio on a football pitch.
He said in 1980: “I love music before I love football. If I love football first it maybe can be dangerous. I love music and then football after.
“Playing football and singing is dangerous because the football gets very violent.
“I sing about peace, love and all of that stuff, and something might happen you know. If a man tackle you hard it bring feelings of war.”
Marley was a fan of TWO teams, including Premier League side Tottenham.

The One Love singer was a huge fan of Spurs midfielder Ossie Ardiles, who spent 10 years in North London.
Marley, who passed away in 1981, also liked to watch Brazilian side Santos FC, who legend Pele played for.
Ajax are probably the club most closely-related to Marley now, however.
Since 2008, Ajax have sung Three Little Birds, after a Cardiff City stadium announcer played the anthem at a pre-season fixture.
