Wetherspoons is selling beer for just £2.15 a pint – but you better hurry

WETHERSPOONS is selling a pint of beer for just £2.15 a pint – but you’ll have to be quick.

Pub goers will be able to grab the bargain at all 844 Wetherspoons across the country.

Spoons is selling a pint of beer for just £2.15 a pint – but you better be quick

You’ll only be able to pick up the pints at this price for a limited time though.

It comes as part of the chain’s Real Ale festival which is returning from Wednesday, March 22 to Sunday, April 2.

A selection of 30 ales, including new, seasonal and speciality brews, will be available as part of the festival.

Wetherspoons said pints will be available from £2.15 and the average pint across all pubs is expected to be less than £3.

But prices will vary across all pubs, so it’s best to check at the bar before you pay.

The 12-day festival will see 24 ales new to Wetherspoons for the first time, including some brewed especially for the festival.

Last time the festival took place was in October last year and the cheapest pint was £1.99 so prices have gone up by 16p.

You can find your local Wetherspoons on the pub chain’s website.

All the ales are available to order at the bar, or via the Wetherspoons app.

Meanwhile, the pub chain has confirmed that 11 of the sites it had marked for closure are currently under offer.

This means that a buyer has presented an offer that is being considered by the seller.

It doesn’t mean that the sale is guaranteed, and it could still remain open if it doesn’t complete.

The news comes after Wetherspoon revealed its sales are still lagging behind pre-pandemic levels.

Spoons boss Tim Martin said far more people now drink in their homes rather than in pubs.

Venues have also hiked beer and grub prices by up to 7.5%, The Sun exclusively revealed last week.

The booze giant has slapped up to 29p on the price of a pint and 75p on meal deals amid soaring costs.
