GIANLUCA SCAMACCA has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Roma.
The West Ham forward suffered an injury-hit first season in East London.
Gianluca Scamacca has been in pre-season action for the Hammers
The 24-year-old started just 11 Premier League games last term, missing a number of months after undergoing knee surgery.
Scamacca is back at West Ham for pre-season training, but would be keen to return to Serie A with Roma.
The former Sassuolo striker was born in the Italian capital, and has outlined his desire to go “home”.
In an interview with Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport, Scamacca said: “Roma is my home.
“It’d be a dream scenario to have Jose Mourinho as manager.
“I’m sure I’d improve my skills a lot under Jose at Roma.”
In addition to Roma, £35million striker Scamacca has also been linked with AC Milan.
Despite the speculation, the 11-cap Italian international was in action for the Hammers in their 4-1 pre-season win over Boreham Wood on Monday night.

He has also jetted out to Australia with his team-mates for West Ham’s pre-season tour – posting a snap from the plane to his Instagram story.
Seated alongside Angelo Ogbonna, he wrote: “Ready.”
West Ham are set to take on Tottenham in Perth next Tuesday.
According to the Guardian, the Hammers remain hopeful that Scamacca can stay and succeed in English football.
They do not want to loan the forward out – with his potential suitors unlikely to afford to match the £35m that West Ham shelled out on him 12 months ago.
Scamacca scored eight goals in 27 appearances in all competitions last season – with five of his strikes coming in the Europa Conference League.
