The drama began when the local authority installed parking bays in front of drives that do not have a permitted dropped kerb.
Mum-of-two Baljit Kaur, 47, was this week unable to access her drive in the road in Richmond, South West London, as another car had parked across it.
She said: “When I asked why she’d parked there, she said, ‘Because I’m legally allowed to’.
“It is shambolic.
“It is bringing out the worst in people.
“Our neighbours are falling out.”
Richmond Council was approached for comment.
