Aspinall will be welcomed back to the cage by Polish pounder Marcin Tybura.

The Team Kaobon star’s clash with Tybura tops the bill of a stacked card at The O2 Arena – nearly a year after he suffered a horrific knee injury.

The small matter of making weight was on the agenda for the duo early on Friday morning.

And both men had no issue making the 266lb non-title fight heavyweight limit.

Surging contender Aspinall beat Tybura to the scales at the fighter hotel and looked cool, calm and collected before weighing in.

Aspinall trimmed some of the timber he used to have but had clearly put on some mass during his time on the sidelines – coming in at solid and a career-heavy 258lbs (18.4stone).

Tybura, who will be looking to spoil the party, came in at 246lbs (17.5stone).

Aspinall said of MMA veteran Tybura earlier this week: “He does a lot of things well.

“And I don’t understand why people are counting him out.

“Because he’s won seven of his last eight in the rankings as a heavyweight.

“That’s a pretty good record, if you ask me, and he’s very durable.

“He doesn’t quit, which is pretty rare for a heavyweight.

“Usually when heavyweights start to get a little bit tired, they start to look for a way out – and he definitely doesn’t.

“He’s got loads and loads of experience, and I’ve taken him extremely, extremely seriously.”
