Watch Roy Keane in tetchy exchange with fan who got Ireland legend to sign son’s football outside Wembley

ROY KEANE was left exasperated during an exchange with a fan outside Wembley on Saturday.

The Republic of Ireland legend was leaving the iconic stadium having been on punditry duty for ITV’s coverage of Man City’s FA Cup semi-final stroll past Sheffield United.

TikTokKeane was initially approached by a youngster who wanted a football signed[/caption]

TikTokHe then asked the boy’s father to stop recording him[/caption]

In the above video he can be seen briskly making his exit before acquiescing after a child asks him to sign a football.

The child’s father then approaches them while recording the Cork native.

Keane takes umbrage with the man pointing his phone right in his face and twice asks him to turn the camera off.

Despite stopping and signing the ball, the man later shared the footage to TikTok claiming that the 51-year-old ‘is not a very friendly person’.

Like many celebs, Keane clearly finds the constant requests for autographs and selfies from members of the public tiresome as this is far from the first instance of him growing weary at such behaviour.

So the fishbowl that comes with having such status as he does can be a double-edged sword.

As for matters on the pitch, the Premier League champions were never in danger of winding up as frustrated as Keane with Riyad Mahrez putting them in front before half-time from the penalty spot.

The result was in never in doubt from there as the tricky Algerian went on to bag a hat-trick in a 3-0 cruise.

EYE ON EGAN

The Blades were always going to be up against it but Keane reckoned Ireland vice-captain John Egan would still feel ‘really disappointed’ with his role in the second strike.

He said: “I would be really disappointed with Jack Robinson and John Egan here.

“Yeah, there’s runners – if he plays them in and they score, then no problem. You can’t just let him walk through the middle.

“Egan’s took a gamble. You’ve got to protect the middle of the goals and make a tackle – here, you’re hoping you’ll get away with it.

“Obviously, they’re top class players and they punish you.

“But Robinson and Egan will be disappointed – you can’t have players running straight at you, you have to protect the goal.

“You can’t just let him run that distance and put it in the back of your net.”
