“That was the most romantic thing ever,” the singer admitted before the camera panned to show Kelce standing beside her.

The NFL star then chimed in to comment on the rom-com moment as he was “literally coming out of the bathroom” when he heard the classic Swift track.

”It was perfect timing,” he claimed.

“And then we met in the middle,” the Enchanted singer gushed as her boyfriend bent down to give her a kiss on the head. “I was like, ‘What is happening?'”

Videos of the iconic moment, including one posted by Swift’s close friend Keleigh Teller, showed Kelce pointing to Swift during the lyrics ‘why can’t you see you belong with me?’

But many eagle-eyed fans later noticed that the Chiefs player made a romantic tweak to the lyrics, instead belting out ‘are you in love with me?’ while looking over at Swift.

In a TikTok video posted by The Chainsmokers, who were DJing for the after party, the music duo included Kelce’s lyric change in the caption.
