Hemsworth’s 58 million followers watched the pair seemingly innocently swim underwater with the soundtrack of Enya’s 2000s hit Only Time played in the background.

Then the Thor actor grabbed onto his wife and pulled her into an intimate embrace from behind.

The post quickly garnered well over a million likes, captioned: “Happy Valentine’s Day. This year I thought I’d share with you how babies are made in Australia. It’s both a game of passion, love and intense sportsmanship where everyone one’s a winner. ❤️💋 @elsapataky.”

Appearing to be used to this behaviour, Pataky just continued swimming, with the video in slow motion, as Hemsworth continued to hold tight.

The pair met and married 14 years ago, with Hemsworth revealing to Elle in 2015 that it was love at first sight.

“From the first time we met, we just made sense. She’s fun. She’s outgoing, and she has a sense of humour and a passionate attitude toward life, which is nice to try to keep up with,” he told the publication.

Hemsworth went on to add, that their children kept him humble and grounded while his fame continued to rise.

“I can say that [my family] has certainly kept my feet planted firmly on the ground — I’ve been able to bypass a whole lot of garbage, traps that I could have fallen into,” he continued.

“I had a taste of it when I was younger and on a TV show in Australia, and it wasn’t of great interest to me even then.”

Pataky also told People that her husband gave her endless advice when she filmed Interceptor, which he had a part in producing.

“He was there to just [offer] all kinds of advice. Of course, he’s a professional action-movie star. So it was great to have him holding my hand,” she said.
