‘Haters gonna hate’, but Adele has no time for NFL fans hating on Taylor Swift.

In the captured fan video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Adele addressed the upcoming Super Bowl showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Chiefs.

“I want the 49ers to win but I also want the Chiefs to win. I think I want the Chiefs to win just because Taylor Swift goes for them,” she admitted to the audience.

The Hello singer then took the opportunity onstage to defend Swift against recent hate.

“All of you that are complaining about Taylor Swift being at the games, get a f—-ng life! It’s her f—-ng man!” the songstress passionately said.

Rapper Drake recently claimed on Instagram that he had bet U$1.15 million (approx. $1.76 million) for the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl.

The rapper justified the sizable wager in his caption: “I can’t bet against the swifties.”

Adele’s comments follow after some die hard fans have lashed out at the NFL for their regular coverage of Swift attending the Chiefs games over the last few months since dating player Travis Kelce.

Swift attended her first NFL game in September 2023 and was frequently shown on the big screen cheering on her then rumoured beau from his VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium.

Since then, the singer has attended twelve NFL games. Most recently, Swift was seen on the field congratulating Kelce with some PDA after his team won the AFC (American Football Conference) championship game, scoring a one-way ticket to the Super Bowl.

Swift’s next NFL appearance is expected to be at the Super Bowl, where fans and media around the world have been following her mission impossible trip from Tokyo to Vegas.

While Swift’s regular screen appearances have upset some football fans, Nine’s Entertainment Editor Richard Wilkins disagrees with the backlash.

“Of course she should go and support him [Kelce]. It’s a beautiful love story, I’m sure they’re having an absolute blast,” he tells 9Honey.
