BRUNO FERNANDES scored an “insane” goal from inside the centre circle as Manchester United held Liverpool to a draw at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils were being dominated in every area as they trailed 1-0 to their fierce rivals.

But they struck gold in the 50th minute when Jarrell Quansah produced a horror error.
The Liverpool defender played a backwards pass through the middle of the pitch.
But it went nowhere near partner Virgil van Dijk and instead ended up at the feet of Fernandes.
United’s talisman wasted little time as he noticed Reds goalie Caoimhin Kelleher miles off his line.
And despite being in the centre circle, Fernandes quickly pinged off a shot towards Liverpool’s empty goal.
Kelleher did his best diving attempt to stop the ball from sailing past, but his effort was to no avail.
Instead, Fernandes’ strike smashed the back of the net to level things up at the Theatre of Dreams.
His goal sent the home fans wild, while Liverpool’s travelling supporters were left aghast at Quansah’s mistake.

The Reds had been expecting to win the match to continue their title bid at the top of the table.
And it certainly left a sour taste in the mouth after United failed to have one single shot during the first half — bar an offside goal from Alejandro Garnacho.
Fernandes’ strike also delighted Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, who reacted with glee in the stands.
Indeed, the hit proved to be a record breaker too, being United’s first goal from outside the box against Liverpool in 19 years.
Fans reacted to Fernandes’ effort, with one saying: “Insane strike.”
Another declared: “Bruno what a goal.”
One noted: “Fernandes doing God’s work.”
Another added: “Unbelievable hit that.”
Things got even better for the hosts in the 66th minute as Kobbie Mainoo fired United in front.
Van Dijk and Andy Robertson were left arguing with each other after Mainoo sliced Liverpool’s midfield apart with a silky run.
He laid the ball off before receiving it just inside Liverpool’s box.
And the new England star span on his axis before curling a shot in the top corner.
But there was late drama as Liverpool won a penalty in the 81st minute.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka fouled Harvey Elliott in United’s area, and the spot-kick was duly put area by Mo Salah.
Neither side was able to find a decisive goal as the game ended 2-2.
