THE world’s tallest man must adapt many aspects of his lifestyle due to his incredible height – including the way he drives.
Standing at 8 feet 3 inches tall Sultan Kosen isn’t able to fit in his car and so drives with his head poking out of the sunroof and a brolly to protect him from sun or rain.

A recent video clip shows the Turkish national blasting loud music as he sits at the wheel of the motor donning some blue-tinted shades.
With a black umbrella positioned above his head – which is protruding from the inside of the vehicle – the wind blows in his hair.
The clip delighted Sultan’s army of 380,000 loyal followers and has racked up more than 1,000 likes and 53 comments.
Many were impressed that Sultan persisted in driving come rain or shine.
“My brother drives the car in all conditions,” wrote one, “Rain does not prevent,” said another.
A third added: “Wow,” and a fourth posted some clapping emojis.
Sultan is 41 years old and first entered the record books in February 2009.
TOUGH TIMES
He previously expressed how although his height had its advantages – as he described being able to help his mum with tasks such as changing a light bulb and hanging curtains – it also had its limitations.
Due to his size, Saltan wasn’t able to finish school and worked as a farmer to help support his family.
And this wasn’t the only difficulty that came with being so tall.
Saltan said: “It’s really difficult to find a girlfriend… They are usually scared of me,” he told Guinness World Records upon being awarded his title.
“Hopefully, now that I’m famous, I’ll be able to meet lots of girls. My dream is to be married.”
He achieved that goal in October 2013, when he married Merve Dibo, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall and reaches around the bottom of Kosen’s ribcage.

Since winning the title, Sultan has also made his on-screen debut, starring in Achieving the Impossible in 2016.
He recently hit the headlines when he met up with the world’s shortest-living woman.
SMALL STATURE
Jyoti Amge, of India, is the shortest living woman in the world at just above 2 feet tall, which is smaller than the average 2-year-old.
Jyoti’s small stature is the result of achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism that caused her growth to stop at her present height.
Sultan’s size is because of a tumour that caused him to develop a medical condition called pituitary gigantism.

His shocking growth spurt didn’t come until he was 10 years old and the rest of his family are average height.
The pair first met in 2018 through an invitation by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and Tourism to visit various historic sites.
In Egypt, they toured the sites before attending a conference at the Fairmont Nile City Hotel in Cairo.
