THIS is the shocking moment a selfish motorist races in front of a speeding ambulance to skip a huge traffic queue – but other drivers have the last laugh.
Dash-cam footage shows a Renault Clio parked up on the pavement, waiting for an ambulance to move past on the right-hand side.

Seconds later, a Peugeot estate car races past followed by the emergency vehicle with its blue lights on and sirens blaring.
The Peugeot then pulls over in front of the Clio and another car (filming with the dash cam) on the left.
As the ambulance continues, the Clio appears to anticipate the Peugeot not letting other cars back into their spot in the queue – accelerating hard to move past and filtering back into the left lane.
However, when the dash-cam car attempts to do the same, the selfish Peugeot driver speeds up and blocks the lane off.
Stuck straddling both lanes, the driver has no where to go.
But then the driver of the Clio winds down his window and waves the dash-cam car forward – pointing to a big space he’s left in front for him to use.
So, by working together, both cars ensure that the inconsiderate Peugeot driver is left back where he should be in the queue.
The poster captioned the video: “Yeah, everyone is moving for you.”
The footage was uploaded by @funnfactory1 to TikTok and has had more than 2.3million views and 609 comments, with most users loving the Clio driver’s quick thinking.

A third pointed out: “Can’t tell how satisfying this is. Clio driver was awesome.”
The Highway Code says: “You should look and listen for ambulances, fire engines, police, doctors or other emergency vehicles using flashing blue, red or green lights and sirens or flashing headlights, or Highways Agency Traffic Officer and Incident Support vehicles using flashing amber lights.
“When one approaches, do not panic. Consider the route of such a vehicle and take appropriate action to let it pass while complying with all traffic signs.
“If necessary, pull to the side of the road and stop, but try to avoid stopping before the brow of a hill, a bend or a narrow section of road.”
This comes after a driver was spotted taking advantage of an ambulance responding to an emergency.
Plus, a driver was caught on video repeatedly blocking an ambulance on call.
