Watch as passenger steals part of another person’s plane seat to make their own flight comfier

A PASSENGER has outraged people online after she revealed what she thought was a helpful travel tip.

Flying with budget airlines can be boring, with no in-flight entertainment systems to keep you occupied during your journey.

However, there are ways around that, including creating your own makeshift TV with your phone.

There are a few different ways to do this, including a method used by Tiktoker Ida Augusta (@idaaugusta).

In a video, she showed how she was able to craft a phone holder from one of the plane’s features already in place on the seat in front of hers.

Some planes will have loose bits of fabric hanging over the headrests, which is thought to be in place for hygiene reasons.

However, Ida flipped the fabric back over the headrest from the seat in front so it dangled behind the seat instead.

She then used her phone cover to fasten her phone to the bit of fabric, giving her hands-free viewing access to her favourite pre-downloaded shows.

While she thought the hack would help others not be bored on flights in the future, the response was mainly negative from other users who said they would hate someone doing the same to them.

One wrote: “Maybe ask someone before touching their designated things.”

Another said: “I’d rather have that since they don’t wipe the seats down and these are for hygiene.”

A third explained what they would do if the person behind did the same, adding: “Hard recline if you did this.”

Other suggested products that Ida could purchase to avoid having to annoy others during flights, including a phone holder that offers a similar service.

Ida’s method was close to being useful, but others have found similar, but less intrusive ways of creating their own in-flight TV system.

One includes using the sick bag provided in the back of the seat and inserting into your phone cover in a similar way.

Then, you just need to clamp the bag in place with the tray table, which holds it in place on the back of the seat.

It’s a method plenty of Tiktokers have showed off before, including Katarina Mogus who told her followers it would “change your life”.

Her hack was slightly better received than Ida’s, with one person describing it as “perfect”.

Another of Katarina’s followers added: “OMG this is brilliant.”

A third wrote: “Oh, she’s so smart.” As a fourth commented: “My life is forever changed now.”

Meanwhile, this simple bumbag hack will make flying in economy a much more comfortable experience.

And this “sleeping bag” hack could help you sleep much better during flights.
