Victoria Beckham ends feud rumours with tribute to daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz

It seems the Beckham family feud is well and truly over.

Victoria Beckham has taken to Instagram to show her support for her daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz Beckham

“We could not be more proud of you,” Victoria captioned a post of herself and Nicola.

“Congratulations on your incredible film, Lola. officially in theatres February 9th! Kisses xx”

The fashion designer also noted Nicola was wearing “custom Victoria Beckham tailoring”, which ironically is where the feud all began.

The duo were rumoured to have butted heads over numerous aspects of wedding planning in 2022 ahead of Nicola marrying the Beckhams’ eldest son, Brooklyn.

Nicola had spoken publicly about her intent to wear one of Victoria’s designs for her wedding gown, however when the day came she walked down the aisle in Valentino.

The wedding was held at the Peltz family estate in Miami, with an insider saying the feud existed within the two families as well.

“It’s not just about [the] two women – it’s two families coming together,” a source told Page Six shortly after the wedding.

“It’s pretty obvious there’s an issue between the two families.”

Nicola spent the year following their marriage both simultaneously fueling the swirling rumours and denying any bad blood.

Whispers of a family rift were only deepened when her and Brooklyn chose to dress as Romeo and Juliet for Halloween, the main characters from the famous story of star crossed lovers from feuding families.

In an interview for her Cosmopolitan cover shoot in March, 2023, Nicola denied any truth behind drama between her and Victoria.

“I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things,” she said.

“It’s really weird, actually, whether it’s my life or someone else’s life or whatever, when you know the truth and then you read something totally wrong.”
