Victor Osimhen has dropped the biggest hint yet he is open for a Chelsea transferRex
He has continued to star despite Napoli’s struggles this season
Amid their stuttering league form, Chelsea transfer chiefs could look to splash the cash on the Napoli ace next month.
And Osimhen, who turned 25 today, seems to have given Chelsea a come and get me plea.
It comes after the 27-cap Nigeria forward replied to a social media post asking him to come to Stamford Bridge.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, a fan wished the striker a happy birthday before posting an image of a young Osimhen appearing to be wearing a Chelsea shirt.
The post was caption: “Pls come and rescue Chelsea soon.”
Osimhen then responded with two heart emojis and a praying emoji.
He recently signed a new deal with the Serie A title holders that extended his current deal until 2026.
However, that deal has seen the inclusion of a release clause worth a reported £112million.

Todd Boehly has been willing to splash out £100m+ figures on midfielders Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, so it would be easy to imagine Chelsea them dropping £112m to sign Osimhen.
The club are said to have a five-man transfer shortlist for the January window which includes Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokores.
A further boost to the London side’s prospects of sealing a deal is Osimhen ruling out a move to Saudi Arabia.
Speaking on John Obi Mikel’s podcast, he said: “Of course. What was said was true, I had talks, in August that week was a huge one, a huge decision for me to take, but I actually put it in God’s hands.
“But the more I said no to these people [in Saudi Arabia] the more they increased it and increased it, it was literally like, ‘wow’, seeing these things.
“I spoke with the people in charge and we spoke about it with my club and we saw what we could do, we decided, me and them and I told them, ‘I like these people, I want to stay, I don’t think I want to leave for now’.
“They understand where I’m coming from but they never gave up until their own transfer window [closed].
“I said to them even before we played the first game of the season, ‘it’s done’, I really didn’t want to go back thinking, of course it’s a huge one, an amazing one that’s going to change my life but of course I had to make the decision that’s good for my career too.
“As much as we play football for money there’s more that comes with it.”
Chelsea’s attack has been bolstered with the return of Christopher Nkunku. who starred in their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
They face a trip to Luton in tomorrow’s early kick-off before hosting Preston in the FA Cup third round to kick off 2024 followed by the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough.
