AN unlucky Brit has lost out on a lottery jackpot worth a cool £1million – but this just means it’s good news for everyone else.
A punter could have pocketed the life-changing sum of money after landing the top EuroMillions prize in the draw on April 21 this year.

The date was a special draw which saw 20 ticket holders guaranteed to win £1m.
But the six-month deadline to claim the prize came and went at midnight on October 18 with no one coming forward.
This means the money will be added to the £30m kitty raised each week for National Lottery-funded projects, meaning the country benefits as a whole.
EuroMillions’ rules give players of “big prizes” exactly 180 days from the draw date to claim their money.
The winning Millionaire Maker code was MJTG 10161 and was bought in the East Riding area of Yorkshire for the draw on April 21.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Unfortunately, I can confirm that the ticket-holder did not come forward within the deadline to claim their prize and has now sadly missed out on this substantial amount of money.
“However, this prize is the only one of the 20 from the special EuroMillions draw that has now expired, and this money will now add to the £30m raised each week for National Lottery-funded projects.
“Players can check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.
“Players can also buy and check tickets in retail.
“Playing online via the app or website means that your ticket is checked, and you get an email notification if you win a prize.
“You can also scan your retail tickets on the National Lottery app to check if you’re a winner.”
One lucky winner recently bagged a whopping £3.9m.
