Two Lamborghini supercars seized from boy racers by police who gloat over ‘beautiful day’

TWO Lamborghini supercars have been seized from boy racers by cops who gloated that it was a “beautiful day”.

Police took the expensive motors after clamping down on “anti-social driving” in Greater Manchester over recent days.

Cops confirmed one of the luxury performance cars was bright yellow while the other was white.

And officers sharing photos of their costly haul described it as a “beautiful day”.

Greater Manchester Police officers said that drivers of these supercars had failed to “learn their lesson”.

Pictures shared on Twitter showed the fancy supercars being stopped in the road before being towed away.

In a statement on social media, GMP Traffic tweeted: “It’s a beautiful day…to seize 2 more Lamborghinis.

“You would have thought the drivers of these vehicles would’ve learnt the lesson from their mate yesterday, but no.

“Seized for anti-social driving under the Police Reform Act.”

GMP added that a number of Lamborghinis have been driven in an anti-social manner across Bolton throughout the weekend.

In an earlier tweet yesterday, cops confirmed that a driver of an orange Lamborghini was issued a warning.

The supercar driver was said to have raced up to a police scene “revving its engine loudly at 4am”.

Manchester councillor Pat Karney was quick to slam the supercar drivers.

He said that that motorists driving luxury motors was becoming a problem in the city centre.

And he blasted the drivers as “muppets”.

Responding to one of GMP’s tweets on the issue, Coun Karney wrote: “Excellent work.

“We have these manboy muppets in the city centre. Rev Rev. Grow up and get a Lego set.”

It comes after a £2.2million Mercedes supercar was reduced to ashes after it exploded into a fireball on the motorway.

Meanwhile, another expensive Lamborghini was seized by police after they caught the driver behind the wheel without any insurance.

And a millionaire social media star saw his £1million McLaren taken away after he flouted insurance rules.
