BRIGHTON are on the verge of signing Ansu Fati on loan from Barcelona, according to reports.
The Seagulls are set to win the race to sign the Spanish wonderkid.

Fati, 20, had been linked with Chelsea and Tottenham, with the latter having reportedly been in advanced negotiations to sign him yesterday.
According to The Athletic, however, Brighton have stolen in and are now set to sign Fati.
Roberto De Zerbi‘s side are expected to take the winger on a season-long loan.
The deal will not include an option or obligation to buy and Brighton will cover the majority of Fati’s wages.
Spurs had reportedly been keen on including an option to make a loan move permanent.
Fati is expected to travel to England today to finalise a move to Brighton.
Since bursting onto the scene at 16, Fati has played 112 times for Barcelona – scoring 29 goals and laying on 10 assists.
He has appeared in all three of their opening LaLiga matches this season from the bench.

Tottenham are now expected to prioritise a move for Nottingham Forest winger Brennan Johnson.

But the extent of Tottenham’s incomings could depend on who they are able to sell.
