Tottenham ‘identify top Man Utd target as Harry Kane replacement’ after brutal Mbappe snub

TOTTENHAM have expressed an interest in signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, according to reports.

The Lilywhites are at risk of losing record goalscorer Harry Kane this summer, with Bayern Munich interested.

Kane has entered the final year of his contract, so Spurs could risk losing him on a free transfer next summer if he refuses to sign a new deal.

Tottenham rejected two bids from Bayern earlier this month, but the Bundesliga giants have reportedly agreed personal terms with the striker.

And Kane’s wife, Katie Goodland, has already started house hunting in Munich.

Spurs have now set their sights on a potential replacement.

And according to Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Kolo Muani has emerged as the club’s priority transfer target.

Eintracht Frankfurt want around £70million for the Frenchman, who is said to be keen on the prospect of a move to North London.

Kolo Muani scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists in 46 appearances for the German side last season.

He also helped France to the World Cup final in December.

Manchester United have considered a swoop for Kolo Muani, but Erik ten Hag is currently focused on bringing Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojland to Old Trafford.

Tottenham have also expressed an interest in signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the striker has no intention of joining the club.

Instead, he could be heading to the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Hilal made a record-breaking £259m bid for Mbappe on Monday and offered him a staggering £600m-a-year in wages.

PSG accepted the offer just a matter of hours after it was launched.
