TOTTENHAM fans fear a mass exodus of stars after the club released a “cringe” video asking “uncomfortable” players to FaceTime famous phone contacts.
Spurs are in good spirits after mounting an unlikely title challenge under Ange Postecoglou.
Spurs fans criticised the club for making players FaceTime their most famous contact
They have seen the likes of Mickey van den Ven and Cristiano Romero reunite after injury absences.
And Tottenham have also strengthened in the transfer market with Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin.
Things could get even better next week if James Maddison returns from a knee injury against Man City.
But the feel-good factor didn’t quite cross over to fans, who were left stunned by a bizarre video on Tottenham’s X account.
The clip showed stars like Maddison and Richarlison arriving at the club’s training ground before being asked about the most famous contact on their phone.
They were then implored to FaceTime that person, leading to some awkward conversations.
When Maddison revealed his No1 contact was Robbie Williams, he seemed less eager to ring up the pop sensation.
Maddison, who eventually did try ringing but failed to get through, said: “Probably not, he’s in Australia.”

The likes of James Maddison and Brennan Johnson saw their calls ignored
Richarlison refused to ring up Brazil pal Neymar
Loan star Werner next revealed his was F1 ace Sebastien Vettel, while Dragusin’s was Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pedro Porro’s was Sergio Ramos, as was Bryan Gil’s.
But Brennan Johnson then put in a call to Son Heung-Min, who is currently on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup.
The Welshman appeared relieved when his captain ignored the ringing.
And when Richarlison revealed his top contact was Neymar, he flat-out refused to make the call.
Richarlison said: “Now? Maybe it’s not possible. Brazil is the morning now, he might be asleep.
“Neymar has five numbers, he changes it every time.”
Fans quickly took to X criticising Tottenham’s social media content.
A supporter boomed: “These questions are going to get people to leave.”
One said: “I cringed during this, she shouldn’t be asking them to FaceTime. That’s uncomfortable because it’s private.”
Another declared: “I was cringing, that’s just personal, allow them to answer who and let them go to training.”
One noted: “This is awful, you need to go back to the PR drawing board.”
Another added: “This is a bit much, players not going to like being pressured to phone people.”
