Top Welsh adventure park with rollercoasters, indoor soft play & brand-new attraction – parents are raving about it

THERE’S an adventure park in Wales that’s home to rollercoasters, soft play areas, and a brand-new attraction.

The summer weather has people planning days out, with adventure parks a great choice for both families and thrill-seekers.

And one place Brit holidaymakers might not have considered going to is Greenwood Family Park.

Set in Y Felinheli in Wales, the family park has been named the Best Family Attraction in North Wales by TripAdvisor.

The park also gets good ratings from the public with an overall score of 4.5/5 from more than 1,300 reviews.

One recent review read: “Absolutely fabulous fun had by the family all day at Greenwood.”

There were loads of rides and amusements for young families too, and our kids had a go on most things.”

Meanwhile, another parkgoer described it as a “wonderful day out”.

They added: “An excellent day out for the whole family, with things to do for everyone. The park lasts the whole day, and the staff are great.” 

Someone else wrote: “It’s an amazing day out for the kids, you can easily spend a full day there going around everything on offer.”

Parkgoers have also been raving about Greenwood Family Park on TikTok too.

TikTok user Jenny, who is known as jent1992 on the social media platform, recently posted a video about a visit to the park.

The footage showed her family arriving at Greenwood Family Park where they spent a day exploring the outdoor play areas, the climbing frames, slides, and nature trails.

Earlier this year, the theme park opened its latest attraction, Cwtch Corner – an animal petting zoo.

Greenwood Family Park is home to over 30 rides and attractions including the Green Dragon Roller Coaster, which takes parkgoers on a 250m loop through the park’s woods.

Meanwhile, Solar Splash is thought to be the UK’s first solar-powered water slide.

Other rides include the Enchanted River Ride, and The Great Green Run.

There are also several outdoor climbing frames like The Giant Quest, The WildWeb, and Treetop Towers.

Other activities include Den Building, Archery, Moonkarts, and the Dragon Maze.

For younger parkgoers, there’s an indoor soft play area too.

Entry tickets into the park cost £23 for anyone taller than 1m, while those who are shorter than 1m can enter for free.

Discounted tickets are also available, if tickets are booked in advance online.

During the peak season, the park is open from 10am until 5.00pm.

And this isn’t the only adventure park in the UK that’s been praised by Brit holidaymakers in recent years.

There’s also a “magical” adventure park that claims to be the “strangest place in the world”.

The Forbidden Corner stretches across four acres of land and is home to a unique labyrinth of tunnels and chambers.
