NOVAK DJOKOVIC is the top-earner at this year’s Wimbledon after taking home nearly three times more than Andy Murray.

Djokovic has won every major at least three times and is looking to secure his eighth Wimbledon crown in 2023.

The 36-year-old has earned considerably more than all his competitors at SW19.

Andy Murray has earned £49.3m in prize money, having clinched glory at two Wimbledons and one US Open.

Veteran Venus Williams, 43, has still not hung up her racket and the five-time All England Club champion is the richest women to have featured this year after landing £32.8m.

She is followed by Petra Kvitova on £28.4m and Victoria Azarenka on £27.9m, who both were knocked out at fourth round stage this year.

Stan Wawrinka is sixth after winning the Australian, French and US Open crowns in his lengthy career and has so far taken home £27.8m.

Alexander Zverev is yet to win a major but has lifted the trophy twice at the prestigious ATP Tour Finals and got Olympic gold in Tokyo in 2021.
