Dotting dad John has been front and centre for every media ahead of the latest Misfits Prime show, so much so that promotion chief Mams Taylor is weighing up giving him a fight in the future.

That’s according to talkSPORT, who claimed: “KSI’s manager Mams Taylor has revealed that John Fury has told him he’s interested in fighting on a Misfits Boxing card.

“And they’re open to making it happen.”

Brit boxing fans were quick to comment on the revelation, with one saying: “This would legitimately be the greatest thing to happen in the history of boxing.”

Another said: “The return of the Real Gypsy King.”

And another said: “Not a man born from his mother could beat big John Fury.”

One remarked: “John Fury vs Greg Paul 2024.”

Another chimed in: “John Fury v [Eddie] Hearn, make it happen.”

Some fans even called for John to share the ring with boxing icon Mike Tyson, who he named his son Tyson after.

One wrote on X: “John Fury vs Mike Tyson.”

Another said: “Put him in there with Mike Tyson.”

John will be in Tommy’s corner for his clash with KSI and fully expects his son to do a number on the social media sensation.

He told LowKick MMA: “I know how good Tommy is and KSI is going to find out how good Tommy is on the night.

“I’m not gonna shout, and scream, and jump up and down because I’ve done all that, but the time for talking is over.

“Action speaks louder than words. We’ve said this, we’ve said that. He’s been saying plenty. Let’s see if he can back it up on the night.

“I hope he can.”
