Tom Cruise has not had a part in his daughter Suri’s life for “a very long time”, according to fresh claims from a source.
Per Page Six, the Top Gun: Maverick star has not seen his and his ex-wife Katie Holme’s 16-year-old, nor been included in her life, for a substantial amount of time.
Cruise and Holmes welcomed their daughter in 2006, after marrying in 2003. The couple split in 2011, and as a result, the actor was separated from his daughter.

Cruise himself has confirmed that his connection to Scientology had a role to play.
Holmes famously started studying the religion upon dating Cruise in 2005, despite being raised a Catholic. She famously split from the Church when she split from Cruise.
During a 2013 deposition for his 2012 defamation lawsuit against Bauer Media, Cruise was asked whether Holmes had left him “in part to protect Suri from Scientology”, to which he replied, “That was one of the assertions, yes.”

In 2016, sources claimed that it was Cruise’s church that was keeping the father and daughter apart since they bar members from seeing “nonbelievers”.
In 2020, former Scientologist Leah Remini told The New York Post Scientology considered Holmes a “suppressive person”.
As a result, Cruise believes he “can’t be connected to Suri.”
The news comes after Cruise mysteriously skipped the Oscars ceremony this year, with some speculating he was attempting to dodge his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman.
Days later, Cruise was seen celebrating Sir Michael Caine’s 90th birthday in London.
Photos showed Cruise sitting directly next to Caine, and smiling and celebrating at the party table.
As well as Suri, Cruise is father to his children Connor, 28, and Isabella, 30, who he shares with Kidman.
