Thorpe Park has announced brand-new themed rooms for the ultimate thrill seeker staycation
The rooms will feature never-seen-before ride concept art and many hidden facts about your chosen ride.
If you’re unsure which theme to pick, The Swarm is the UK’s only wing rollercoaster – it’ll take you to speeds of almost 62mph, and you’ll feel the force of 4.5G.
While Stealth is the UK’s fastest rollercoaster, launching you from 0 to 80 miles per hour in less than 2 seconds.
Finally, Nemesis Inferno is the only inverted rollercoaster at the park. You’ll spin and swoop around more than 700m of steel track at 50mph.
The Thorpe Park cabins all come with Nespresso coffee machines, free WiFi, tea makers, a TV, and funky lighting, and are based in the park, seconds away from the heart of the action.
You’ll be able to check in from 3pm on your first day, but your entry ticket will be valid from 10am, so you’ll still be able to get the most out of your day in the park.
Regardless of which room you pick, you’ll get a two-day theme park entry with unlimited access to more than 30 rides and attractions.
On your second day, you’ll get a one-hour fast-track between 10am and 11am on all rides.
But it doesn’t stop there; you’ll also get unlimited fast-track on the ride that matches your room theme for the whole day.
For instance, if you stay in a Stealth-themed room, your unlimited fast track will be valid only on Stealth.
The rooms come with even more added extras, as you’ll get free breakfast and access to an evening quiz with prizes up for grabs.
The evening quiz takes place two and a half hours after rides close, and there’s no need to book it.
If you fancy buying some merchandise or snacks throughout your stay, you’ll also receive 10 per cent off your purchases.
The new themed rooms are available to book from £79pp on selected Sunday – Thursday dates in 2023.
This year, the park will be open until October 31, 2023.
Thorpe Park has also unveiled plans for a brand-new rollercoaster that will be the biggest in the UK.
The new 236ft ride would be the tallest rollercoaster in the UK, beating the current 213ft record held by the Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach since 1994.
If you don’t mind travelling further for a theme park holiday, the Disney World sale has up to £1,650 free spending money and 14 tickets for the price of 7 in 2024.
Or, if you’re after a beach holiday instead, Jet2holidays has hundreds of free child places this summer.
And for those wishing to stay close to home, we rounded up the best UK cottages to book this summer with deals from £22pp a night.
