GETTING older doesn’t mean you can’t keep on top of beauty trends.
But not all trends are going to work for you as you age, especially this major eyebrow mistake.

You eyebrows frame the rest of your face, so getting them right is a must.
Even if you don’t naturally have gorgeous, full brows – there are still some easy ways to get that perfect fluffy look.
Celebrity makeup artist Sarah Amelia Fogg, who is also the founder of Brows by Sarah, told Express.co.uk how women can make their brows work for them as they age.
The makeup whizz revealed that brows are the biggest problem area she sees time and time again.
It turns out that failing to take proper care of your eyebrows can make you look loads older.
If your brows are more sparse, leaving them can age you, but overfilling them can be just as bad.
Sarah explained: “If you like the defined look, avoid adding any colour to the end of your brow as overextending the tail can draw your face down and age you significantly.”
Stick to one or two products you love, rather than overloading your brows with too many different pomades and powders.
Sarah recommended starting by filling in the tail of your brows and working inwards, rather than the other way around.
“Doing this can help you work with the natural shape of your brow, keep it looking fluffy and help you avoid applying too much product,” she said.
And when it comes to plucking your eyebrows – approach with caution.
Eyebrow hairs can take a long time to grow back, so anything you pluck out now could still be gone in a few months time.
Stick to plucking any stray hairs you that are out of place, rather than completely reshaping your brows.
On the other side of things, if you’re desperate for fuller looking brows, Sarah recommended using a brow serum “to help improve the condition of the skin and follicles, as well as encourage growth.”
