A CHEAP car gadget will solve “90 per cent of your window fog issues”, says one motorhead.
The 50p gadget is just one of several helpful tips the car enthusiast shared on TikTok to aid his followers in clearing their “extremely fogged-up” windows.

TikTok creator @zrkreviews started his video by suggesting car owners check their cabin pollen air filter and make sure it’s not “too dirty”, or insert a new one.
But what would really make a difference, he said, is getting a car dehumidifier capable of absorbing any moisture in the vehicle.
He said: “Costs only £1 for the two, and that is it, 90 per cent of your fogged-up windows solved.”
A close-up shot showed a small box of what appeared to be white crystals, covered in a thin white film.
The video then cut to a clip of the dehumidifier attached to the inside of the car’s front glass window.
Gadgets like the one shown are known to remove dampness caused by humidity, preventing bad odours and helping to prevent mildew.
The TikToker also suggested that car owners adjust the temperature inside their cars.
He said: “Car controls, I normally keep the heat at high and the fan to number one. Place it on fresh mode and turn the dial to direct the heat to your desire.
“I recommend to place it on the footwell and windscreen and keep the heat on the rear window too.
“All these methods keep your car fresh, away from mould, damp, bad smells, and condensation.”
Other ways to de-fog your windscreen include keeping silica gel packets in your car and wiping shaving foam across your windscreen.
Or, you could make your own moisture-absorbing device using just a Tupperware box and coarse rock salt.
Simply fill the container with the salt and place it in your car, ideally on the dashboard near the windscreen.
A Leasing Options expert said: “Salt has a high capacity to absorb water from the environment – so why shouldn’t this work in a humid car, too?
“Leasing Options suggests that filling a Tupperware box of coarse rock salt is a popular dehumidifying option in homes, but can also be used in a car.
“To prevent the salt from spilling over, put a lid on the box and pierce holes in it to allow it to still work its magic.”
