Mia Maguire, who travels between Austin and LA for work, said she has found the “game-changing” items that make flying economy much easier.
One item she swears by is a seatback pocket that doubles up as a tray cover.
While some airlines have pockets on the backs of the seat, they are often rather restrictive, and can be filthy.
Some budget airlines have scrapped pockets altogether, making it so much harder to get access to your personal items during a flight.
Mia explained on Yahoo: “Having to reach down to fumble through your under-seat personal item to find your headphones, chapstick, notebook, chargers…
“Well, you get the idea… is a straight-up hassle.
“This germ-blocking tray cover also doubles as a personal item storage container, and it’s worth every penny (especially if you’re traveling with kids!).”
The pocket has four compartments, which includes a large pocket for your laptop as well as smaller sections for kindles, water bottles and phones.
It slides over the tray table so you can avoid touching the surface which previous studies have revealed as the dirtiest part of the plane.
It can be thrown into the washing machine and folds flat so you can pack it eaisly in hand luggage.
Costing £29 on Amazon, on sale from £45, the Airplane Pocket organiser.
With more than 500 reviews, hundreds of them have rated the item five stars.
